Nepal produces thousands of graduate students every year — MPH, MSc, MPhil, and PhD scholars — yet most of them navigate their research journey alone. Supervisors are overstretched, dedicated research support services barely exist, and international consultancies charge fees that are simply out of reach for Nepali students.
Research Sathi was born out of this reality. Our founder, Dr. Rajan Sharma, experienced this gap firsthand as a PhD student and later as a supervisor at Tribhuvan University. He saw brilliant students fail not because of lack of intelligence, but because of lack of support — no one to help them choose the right statistical test, write a compelling proposal, or navigate the peer review process.
Today, our team brings 20+ years of combined expertise, has supported 5+ research projects, delivered 10+ personalized consultations, and contributed to 3+ publications — and we are genuinely passionate about research capacity building in Nepal. Every client we serve is a step toward the Nepal we envision — one where local research drives global knowledge.
